     Here is how it was done in Pre Planual Era: We used to create Refresh buttons and publish these buttons on to the dashboards. Refresh buttons are nothing but “Open Dashboard” actions and this action when published on to the dashboard acts like a refresh button, if it calls the same dashboard

    What is wrong with this method?  It is not recommended to create refresh buttons due to two reasons:

    1. You will have to find a unique name for each button as Anaplan will not allow you to use same name for each buttonMisbah_1-1594286277336.png
    2. For end users it may be painful to work with because once end users scroll up or down the screen refresh button may go out of the screen depending upon the location of it on the dashboard.

    Here is how it should be done in Planual Way: Educate end users to use inbuilt Refresh button which is in the tool bar of the dashboard. End users can scroll up/down it will be visible all the time giving that extra flexibility.
